Some unis have already begun their revision week in preparation for the autumn final exams. This would indeed be a stressful time even to the most studious students. - Use specific memory techniques. One effective way is the use of mnemonics. Come up with the easiest mnemonics that would help you recall larger pieces of information. You may have learned that the order of Math operations go like this: Parentheses, Exponents, Multiply, Divide, Add, and Subtract. Using “Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally” makes it easier to remember.
- Work on past papers. Try to ask for past papers from your tutor or search online. The exact questions won’t necessarily be on your upcoming exams. Chances are some questions will simply be restructured or Math equations will be similar.
